Article Standards

Your submissions must comply with the following standards

  • Your article must have at least 1200 words (Preferably below 3000).
  • Your article must be submitted via Google Docs
  • The article must be original, plagiarism free, and should not be published anywhere else.
  • In the case of statistics and works of research, the article must include credible sources and links
  • The article must be in cohesion with our writing style and should not be self-promotional. The article should rather offer unique perspectives and knowledge to our C-suite and management readers.
  • The article must be submitted with your author bio inclusive of a thumbnail image of yours. We will offer the complete credit of the article to you.

Link Insertion

We will be happy to give you one ‘Do-Follow’ link in the body of your article linking to your own website or blog. However, we will not allow self-promotional links or direct links to products or services you may be endorsing through your blog. We will only allow link insertion to an informative article and we hold the discretion to remove links or change links in the best interest of our content policy at Speaking Nerd.

The Process

After you submit your guest post, our team may take up to two weeks to evaluate your submission and make the necessary edits (if needed). Since we receive a large influx of guest post requests, we expect you to be patient and wait for our response. There is no reason why we would not keep you updated!

Also, we hold the discretion to reject any guest post submission or make changes to it in alignment with our content policy. If possible, we will definitely revert to with the reason why a particular submission was rejected so that you can come up with better submissions in the future. It is all about maintaining positive relationships after all!

Also, when you submit your guest post, you can make suggestions for images, however, we will get the images designed by our expert team of in-house graphic designers with the logo of Speaking Nerd on each image.
